Do not write 'Tasmanian hospital' and leave the panel to guess whether you mean Hobart or Launceston.

Nursing and midwifery applications follow the clinical stream in the Statement of Duties. Allied health needs the profession and the caseload. Rural and regional responsibility is part of many northern roles: say the sites and the decisions, not a claim that you can work anywhere. Medical roles are a separate reader.

Corporate and clinical-support roles in the Department of Health's north can be banded State Service positions. Those responses use the criteria or the short form the ad requests. They should still show the northern health service. A Royal Hobart example can be relevant experience. It has to be translated, not copied with the hospital name replaced.

The Australian Maritime College at Newnham is part of the University of Tasmania. It recruits academic, technical and professional staff in maritime engineering, seafaring and related fields, alongside the wider university campus. University applications follow the institution's form for teaching, research or professional work. They are not State Service criteria with a campus line added. A seafarer moving into a shore role needs the tickets, the vessel type and the responsibility stated in civilian language.

Bell Bay, on the Tamar, is the heavy-industry site. Bell Bay Aluminium, part of Rio Tinto, is the large manufacturing employer. Maintenance, production, trades, engineering and commercial roles are read for the plant, the crew, the shutdown and the standard. Boag's Brewery in Launceston, now part of Lion, is a different manufacturing employer in food and beverage. A plant résumé and a brewery résumé are not the same first page, and neither is a Band 6 statement.

The Tamar Valley's agriculture, wine and food businesses, the City of Launceston, and northern teams of State Growth, Education and primary-industry agencies fill out the market. Council applications use the council's form. State applications use jobs.tas.gov.au. Private production résumés lead with the enterprise and the output.
